This report is aimed to introduce new trend of medicine and rehabilitation, especially smart rehabilitation equipment and facilities in China. A new stand industry called big health industry is believed as a major economic growth (up to 160 trillion, 20% of GDP) in the 21st centenary.
Major focus in medicine is changing from clinical treatment centered to health centered, which is facilitating a new concept of active health in medical behavior. Under this background, a massive research investment delivered from the central government to the social industrial entities.
This report will introduce following trend in China:
Smart rehabilitation training devices
Robotics for upper and lower limb training
Robotics for cognition and perception training
Robotics for limb early mobilization
Automatic driving devices
Virtual reality: from VR to XR
Smart facilities for communication and social activities
Robotics for communication
Robotics for learning and teaching
Robotics for health education for patients in hospital and/or the elderly with chronic diseases and dementia.
Application of app with cell phone for the home-based rehabilitation.
Smart wearable devices for medical reform
Sensors installed in watches, clothing, shoes, insole, hat, ring, belt, glasses, ear phones, etc to collect vital signs and motion information and transmit a cloud with big data storage for artificial analysis, thus to provide health information to medical services, which will lead to medical reform in medical behavior, infrastructure, insurance and quality assurance.
