On the 5th floor of the convention center (around the exhibition). We welcome all the participants and accompanying persons. Drinks and light snacks will be served.

Banquet & Award Ceremony

      on board the cruise ship "Concerto"

December 16 (Day 2) , 19:20-21:05

We will cruise along the coast of Kobe city to the west, come close to Akashi Kaikyo Bridge (suspension bridge famous for its world's longest 1,991m main span), and return to the city center. Tickets are available at the registration desk. Please ask early, as the capacity is limited. Free (included) for regular registrants, and JPY 5,000 for students and accompanying persons. Bus service is available from the conference center, departing shortly after the last session of the day. If you come by yourself, please arrive the meeting point (see below) by 19:00. There is no bus service after the banquet; please use train or taxi.

Directions

From the convention center, take the portliner to Sannomiya terminal. Change to JR Kobe line (local, rapid or special rapid service, direction Akashi & Himeji), and get off at Kobe station (3-4 minutes). The meeting point (port) is behind the "MOSAIC" shopping mall.

From Kobe station (ca. 10 minutes):

  1. Take the central gate exit (NOT Vierra Kobe) and turn to the right (to Harborland).
  2. Ride the escalator just behind the station exit, to the underground floor.
  3. Walk down the passage on the left hand, and turn to the left at the big TV screen "Harbor View".
  4. Go up to the ground level at exit 26 (escalator), or 25 (elevator).
  5. Walk through the sidewalk, towards the Ferris wheel.
  6. Do NOT go upstairs. Pass through under the "MOSAIC" sign.
  7. At the end of the passage, you will see the harbor.
  8. The waiting lounge is on the 1st floor.

The cruise departs at 19:20 (Please arrive there by 19:00).
